During Eid al-Adha, a dying goat whose throat has just been cut open bleeds out as they lie on the ground in the yard of an animal breeder. A butcher pulls back this individual's head to make it easier for them to decapitate the goat. This goat and other animals are being killed here while fully conscious as a ritual animal sacrifice, or "Qurban," so their owners may observe the Islamic Eid al-Adha holiday traditions.
