A day-old dairy calf is bottle-fed milk by a worker at a dairy farm. Another calf tries to drink, sucking the hand of the worker. Calves are separated immediately after birth and trained to drink milk from containers, first through bottles and then from rubber artificial teats intended to replicate drinking milk from a mother cow.
