The Waterkeeper Alliance is a global network of environmental organizations including scientists, ecologists and activists who track the forms of pollution caused by industrial farming and other harmful human practices. During the intense period of flooding in North Carolina after Hurricane Florence, scientists from Waterkeeper Alliance conducted regular testing of fecal levels in waterways affected by the floods.
